At My Paper Pusher, LLC, I am a Managing Partner.
Remember what it was like falling in love for the first time? My job is to find small and mid-sized business owners and nonprofit organizations who will fall in love with our bookkeeping and administrative services. It’s all about getting familiar, bonding over shared interests (like your financial records), discussing potential deal-breakers candidly and exploring the possibility of a long-term relationship. Love doesn’t always bloom at first sight. So, sometimes I have to stalk (just kidding).

What’s your favorite part of the job?
I believe that the secret to living a full life is meeting new people and that’s absolutely the best part of the job. I ask a lot of questions and process a lot of answers. I help make connections to others, and I stay in touch. People are just darn interesting!

What would you like to know more about?
It’s definitely rocket science. For years and years I’ve heard people say, “Gee, Teri, it’s not rocket science.” So, I downloaded the NASA app on my IPad. Way cool!

What is your favorite book?
I love to read. In fact, I read a book a week. My favorite book of all time is Sense and Sensibility by Jane Austen. I have a romantic heart.

What is the strangest food you have ever eaten?
I’m a risk taker. There really isn’t any food I dislike. Two years ago in Venice (not Florida) I ordered an entrée called, “black spaghetti.” It was linguine pasta covered in squid ink. It turned my teeth and tongue black for a whole day….but it was delicious!

Where is the funniest place you’ve ever fallen asleep?
Oh my, in a cab, in New York City, on the way to the airport. It’s a long story.

What movie can you quote word for word?
I think I’ve seen “Last of the Mohicans” over a hundred times. Remember the waterfall scene? “Stay alive, I will find you. No matter what occurs, I will find you”. Of course, this was a movie with few words. Memorization is not one of my strengths.

How do you like to spend your spare time?
I love to sew. Specifically, quilt. I have an entire room in my home dedicated to my hobby. In fact, I’ve published patterns and am a frequent sewing instructor….. really!

When you meet me, ask me about….
